Grounded advice for Pflege careers in Germany

DevPlatform X exists for internationally trained nurses and care workers who need a realistic path into German employment — recognition paperwork, language timing, and employer conversations that match how wards actually hire.

Why we opened this practice

Germany’s shortage of Pflegefachkräfte is widely discussed; the day-to-day friction for candidates is quieter. Files stall because a transcript lacks placement hours. Interviews collapse when medication vocabulary is thin. Contracts arrive before housing plans exist. We built DevPlatform X to sit beside candidates through those friction points — not to sell a vague “career makeover.”

Our base in Reinbek, Schleswig-Holstein keeps us close to northern German hospital networks and residential care providers while we also advise clients targeting other federal states.

How we work

Document-first honesty

We read what authorities and HR departments will read. If a gap is likely to trigger an adaptation period, we say so early.

Region-aware advice

Recognition practice and hiring tempo differ across Länder. We plan against the state you actually intend to live in.

Human delivery

Consultations are live conversations with written follow-up. You always know what to do next week, not only next year.

People behind the guidance

Portrait of a professional woman in a calm office setting

Lena Hartmann — Lead consultant

Lena has spent years helping internationally trained nurses prepare Anerkennung dossiers and employer interviews across northern Germany. Her focus is practical sequencing: which fees to pay first, which applications to delay, and how to speak about prior ward experience in German interview settings.

Omar Benedikt — Placement liaison

Omar maintains relationships with hospital HR teams and Pflegeheim directors who regularly hire foreign-trained Pflegekräfte. He translates candidate profiles into shortlists that respect both clinical background and language readiness.

Values we keep visible

  • No guaranteed job claims — introductions are earned by readiness.
  • Clear boundaries between consulting and legal representation.
  • Respect for the craft of nursing, not treating candidates as interchangeable “staffing volume.”
